4) Custom design takes too long.
In most cases, custom and non-custom invitation companies have fairly similar timelines. The official recommendation is to order at least 2 months in advance. However, that doesn't mean rush requests can't be accommodated if you're in a crunch.
If you have a good invitation designer who is willing to work within your timeline, it is possible to get custom invitations done even faster than catalogue companies. Alternately, the best custom design shops will do everything possible to get your order done by your rushed deadline.
